Our carrot pieces originate from oversupply or from the food industry. It’s a co-product released during the processing of food grade carrots. The off-sized shapes or top and bottom pieces are separated, collected and transported to a Duynie factory. There they are washed or steam peeled, cut, blanched, air dried, selected, ground over a 1mm sieve.
